Captain America: Civil War is a 2016 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Captain America, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger and 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the thirteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In Captain America: Civil War, disagreement over international oversight of the Avengers fractures them into opposing factions—one led by Steve Rogers and the other by Tony Stark.

Civil War is a great action film, and an incredible comic book movie. Some of the best action sequences from any Marvel film, and having our favorite characters battle it out on screen is very fun. One of my biggest gripes with this movie is that it is titled a Captain America movie though the entirety of it is being split between Cap and Iron Man.

I’m only upset by this because we will more than likely never get another standalone Captain America film. But besides the lukewarm villain, Captain America: Civil War has amazing non-stop action, and leaves questions for our heroes in the next Avengers film.
